Putting betta's up for adoption

Is it a good idea to heal rescue betta's then put them up for adoption?

Yes. Same rewards as saving a cat or dog.

I'd love to do that :)

My biggest concern would be finding enough good homes for them after....

What a great way to feel good about what you are doing, help some poor sad fish, help some people who want healthy, but rescued fish AND get to know and enjoy lots and lots of bettas!!!

would u be charging an adoption fee or just giving them away to good homes? I think the only problem u might run into is that by the time u buy the betta then invest all the time and money into saving them its gonna be hard to recoup any money cuz most people will just go buy a healthy one from walmart or petsmart/petco or thier LFS for anywhere from $3-$5...but it IS a nice thought and if u can do it then GO FOR IT! I think it would be awesome :) there is a lady thats here in TX if Im not mistaken that runs a place called "tiny hearts betta resuce" and she basiclly gives hers away. im not sure how she affords it but god bless her
