Shrimp?

I'm looking into getting a few specialty shrimp. You know, like Cherry Red or Crystal Red Shrimp.

Except they cost an arm and a leg. Any one know of a cheaper option or if it's worth it to keep shrimp?

As Choclate said, there's Ghost shrimp. You can generally get them cheaply, sometimes as low as 50 cents.
