Yay for you on getting a bigger tank. What size did you go with? Also you'll want to read up on fish IN cycling. When you set up a new tank you'll need to watch the ammonia levels initially & do water changes to keep them low. Next will come the nitrites which will also need to be kept low. Eventually the tank will be cycled but it can take up to 8 wks. And BTW, he's a good looking Betta, his fins will be beautiful when they fill back in. Please continue asking questions & don't take offense to some of us we just want all Bettas to have happy & healthy lives.
