Geez, how do I keep ending up with DTs? Why do they like me so much lately?
Haha, so despite the lingering ominous dark clouds, whipping wind, trickling rain from this mornings big storm(there was a whole warning, sirens, and everything...nothing really happened though, not in my neighborhood at least. The power didn't even flicker)my dad took my little brother and I out this afternoon to do a little shopping. I needed to grab the lizard some fresh mealworms, so I had dad take me by Petsmart.
Though the usual sparse Sunday selection at my Petsmart, there were actually several quite interesting little guys and gals.....but this guy caught my eye right away. He seemed to be just what I had been looking for in a fish to name Undertaker(after a character in one of my favorite animes, Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler)as a 'Halloween fish'......as well as to keep up with the Kuro theme in one of my divided five gallons.
Can't really say hes an impulse buy.....been having a bit of a rough couple of days, so I had sorta been planning to go in today and get a new boy anyway if any of them caught my attention.....so, I picked him up along with some hornwart(I was
going to get some Anacharis, but I let it slip that I was just slowly picking up a few hardy plants for my tanks, just as idle chit-chat, and the lady pretty much refused to get it for me because the little tag said it was a 'High-light plant' and it required a lot of care.

I didn't feel like arguing, and the hornwart was cheaper for more so....oh well. I'll just get some from someone else next time.) and brought him home!
He is ITTY BITTY, just the tiniest little thing! xD Its so adorable, he makes Sebastian look huge! Lol, I can't wait to see how he grows and marbles up. It'll be really interesting to see how he changes over time.
He also, as you can see in a few pictures, decided that the sand was absolutely fascinating and for a good couple of hours hes been 'pecking' at it and 'investigating' it. Same deal with the filter sponge baffling the out flow. Its quite adorable. xD Hes such a calm, yet odd and curious little guy....
Haha, anyway....enough of my rambling. Enjoy the pictures!
