Finn's new setup... AGAIN! lol

So, my little heater wasn't keeping up and despite the fact that I clean his waste and leftover food 2 times a day, and clean his sand once a week, and I quarantined his new plants from the other day, I wound up getting a bacterial bloom on one of the bits of Cholla wood. So, I needed to do a really good cleanse of the tank to keep my boy from being sick.

So, knowing I needed my tank warmer to help kill the bacteria, I went to the two measly pet stores we have in town (PetZoo and PetCo)... and came home with 2 Amazon Swords and 3 Anubaias Petite and a 4 inch air stone instead of the little one I had....

Plus, I wanted to remove the Geode I had in there, since the Teal of it didn't look right anymore. I have some very pretty soft round stones coming my way that'll go in there here in a bit too.

Behold, His new set up! (I scrubbed the Cholla wood inside and out, and boiled it. While it removed the tanins that i might have had from it, it killed the bacteria.)

Yup!! I love them WAY more than I like my giant ones.. I actually tore one of my giant ones in half and made 2 decent sized ones because the big ones looked messy...

ANYWAY! The Mini Marimo can be purchased here, 6 at a time.

They are just so stinkin cute. lol

That's exactly where I bought mine. They were so tiny when I received them, but they're the perfect size for bettas to play with when they're bored. Ronin herds his around from place to place in his tank.
