Help with pattern/color?

I picked up this new halfmoon today! =D He's very translucent but the light makes his tail have a shimmer purple/ orange tint? he has a bright red spot on his head too.

I can't wait to see if it changes =D Tyrannith, my crowntail, has already changes so much! His pale body is getting darker (grey, blue, or black) and his tail fins are getting a deep red color!

Do betta's do this a lot?

Stress, Diet, Temp, age, and genes affect color so did you change anything?
