Excited!!!

So after spending the past 2 weeks researching/reading up on Betta's on this super informative forum and also prepping and cycling my tank. I think today is the day I go in search of the lucky Betta who gets to move from a small in store container into my tank! Its weird as I never thought the anticipation and excitement would be so big for me to get a fish, but everyones enthusiasm here only fuels my need and curiosity.

So I brought him home yesterday and it took him about a min before he was exploring his new home. He is a color shifting fish as when you see him a different angles his colors change...from blue to purple to red to green to yellow. He seems like a very happy betta but when i tried to feed him today he chose to not eat. I am feeding him the same food as the store so I am just guessing his refusal to eat has to do with getting used to a new enviroment. Not to worried about it now but will grow concerned if he doesn't eat for a few days.

He's... Beautiful. :3 New Bettas usually don't eat for 1-2 weeks. So, don't worry! You acclimated him, right?
