Are you home? Daphinia is good and a little bit of pellets is good. And yes like you ask me before, just shrimp that we eat you can feed him. Little tiny pieces like a pellet.

I need to leave i was checking on you. Just in case you need to use medications do you have any?
That what Sakura recommended to someone who had betta with bad fin rot. That what she wrote:
API Triple Sulfa from Petsmart is the choice here but DO NOT use if you have allergies to sulfa medications. If you do, choose API Furan-2.

I agree with Sakura. Triple Sulfa is a pretty good med if you have to use one. I'm going to use it on my betta with chronic fin rot.

Ok, today he has a split in the middle of his anal fin that goes right up to his body. The tops of his anal fins are white-ish and kind of disintegrating. Otherwise he is acting normal. Does it sound like I should start meds?

His caudal fin has some nice regrowth. Honestly there isn't anything in the tank that he could be snagging his fins on either.

Yes, I think you should start meds. The fin rot sounds like it's pretty fast moving and serious. It's best to start meds before the fin rot gets really terrible. Just make sure the water is super clean with 0 ammonia before you put them in or they won't work.

Jungle Fungus eliminator has been known to work so I would give it a try before going to the store.

Too late!
The things I do for this little guy. I was worried so I just went to get it. Acclimating him now. He seems to be taking it well. I did a 100% water change and scrubbed his tank to make sure everything is nice and clean. I really hope this works!
