Cool New tank and my existing BB?

I have a 3.3G KK from Petco, running with the Azoo Mignon 60 Generation 2 filter. The cycle is set up, I'm using the API test kit. Well I'm thinking about getting a 5G or 10G tank, I'll use the same filter, so will the BB just carry over into the new tank? Will the new water kill the BB?

Also, sorry for my multiple threads D: I just want to make sure I can keep my Betta safely and happily!

The 3 gallon isn't cycled like a larger tank would be, but the bacteria it does have in the filter media will help boost the cycle of the larger tank if you place it in with the new filter and the new filter media for a week or two. It won't kill off the bacteria changing it over.

The smaller tank is filtered like a larger tank can fully establish but the BB I do have I would like to keep. So moving the filter to the new tank, give it a week or two, finish the cycle it's in before moving the fish in?
