Exclamation need help! did something stupid!

I'm like completely panicking and super upset with myself. I bought some oto cats to put in my 10 gal divided today at petco. I got them home and put them into my tank without quarantine...that's where the problem started. I was looking at them like 15 minutes ago and saw that they were covered in ick. I immediately got them out and put them in a separate tank with ick meds. They were in there about two hours before I got them out. So, my question is what do I do with my bettas? Do I wait to see what happens or do I need to get them into quarantine and treat them as well? I have live plants or else I would just treat the whole tank. Anyone who can give me any info will be much appreciated! I'm totally freaking out! And I'm worried about my babies :(

Isn't there a way to cure/prevent ick by raising the temperature? Your plants might not like that either, but it would be less traumatic than the meds. Research it though. I might be off base here...

86F will stop ich. best if you raise temps. use Aq salt and clean tank thoroughly with hot water daily.

put the fish in Qt if you cant dose main tank.

I you want a plant safe invert safe med. go for the all natural ich attack. Ignore their worthles instructions and follow mine....take out any carbon in your filter, dose 4 times the dose... Three times a day. water should turn very dark very soon. No need to do wter changes other thanthe usual. just keep up with the dosage until the ich is gone.... dose in lower amounts for another week to make sure...I havent yet overdosed on that stuff despite going 8-10x recommended dosage.

I turned up the heat to 86 this morning. I don't see any white spots on either of my boys yet. I'm going to get the all natural ich medicine tonight. If I'm not seeing any spots do I still need to treat?

Also, about the aq salt, I haven't put any in because I thought it might hurt the plants. But at this point I'm about ready to take them out and put them in something else so I can properly take care of my boys.

Some plants can handle salt and others can't. However I have no idea of which can or can't.
