He actually is a little redder than it shows, but my camera isn't so good so I'm chalking it up to that.
He's much more active and he's such a character--it took 10 attempts to get that one picture, LOL! He swims quite fast, begs for food, and loves to hang out inside the cichlid stone. He really makes me smile, and particularly over the last few days, which I've needed, and I'm trying to find a way to keep him with me since I'll be making a move in the dead of winter. Unfortunately I have to rehome some of my scalekids (nervous about getting them from NY to FL alive, parents own the condo I'll be living in and they requested I downsize the number of pets, etc), but I'm trying to keep 2 since I've been allowed my 10 gallon and I'm hoping he can be one of the 2.
Those were all great name suggestions! I'm leaning a little toward Simon but a friend suggested Gabriel after the Archangel from Supernatural. I'm calling him Troublemaker for now.
