My new betta - can anyone tell me it's type?

And the colors are also so unusual right? I haven't seen these colors anywhere..

He's a veil tail! I think the end of his tail needs to grow in though, looks like something happened.

When I brought him the first day his fins were so small that I couldn't differentiate the fins. It started opening up after 2 days. It's now a week. How long do you think it will take for complete recovery?

I love it's color.

It could take about a month for him to recover and start growing some fin back. He is blue with a red wash and while that is a common coloring each wash is different and unique :)
