Can I get advice about dividers!??

I bought a 10 gallon aquarium and a divider. set everything up and put the stones in the bottom. BUT I have a gap at the top of my dividers and I am afraid that a fish will swim through to the other side and attack the other.. I can't fit my pinky finger through the gap but I am just worried that something bad will happen. can you help?

BTW: The divider is just one that I purchased from the local petsmart and they told me it would work. AND my pinky fingers aren't that big. maybe the size of a pencil or pen.

You could try making a home made divider if your worried about it that much. Its simple and there are even guides on here, I think. I'll go and look for them.

I had thought about that but Idk how to do that either my boyfriend had said something about plexiglass (i dont know how to spell it) and just hot glue it in.. I dodnt know if that wouold work either.

Hot glue could be poisonous to your fish, only thing you should use is Aquarium selant from the pet store, or silicone (GE II) from a hardware store. You can use plastic craft mesh and project cover ends to make your own :)
