Please Urgent Help!!

I have had my betta for 4 months now. He is my first betta. For a while his tails have been curled but I have left it alone because he was happily swimming and eating normaly. Lately, his tails have been splitting and his color is not as bright. He is eating a lot, but hasnt pooped, looks bloated, in his stomach area, floats on his side, lays on the bottom, and has trouble swimming. I have tried to treat him with Maracyn for 5 days but it has had no productive results. What should I do?! Please help, this is my only pet and I wouldn't want him to pass away. He is stored in a 5 gallon tank with a heater, I have currently moved him into a 1 gallon tank to try to keep him healthy again. Any advice or ideas on his illnes?!

I think maybe it would be better to take him to a veteran for help, he seems pretty sick and needs help. I hope he gets better x

Also, he may be constipated, maybe lay off the food for a while.
