So lately i have noticed his belly is a little full.... Also today is the first time I have ever seen him chuck a pebble i feed him after a bit out of his mouth.. Like vomit but it was still the same size food. Does this pic help? I wonder if he is getting fed to much. I usually feed him 3 pellets in the morning and at night and he doesnt eat on the weekends because it is at my desk in my office.

it looks like overfeeding or bloating, it could help using epsom salts and fasting your fish for a few days :)

I would leave the bottom without gravel, when it comes to constipation you wanna monitor poop

Some people use up to 3 tsp per gallon for up to 2 weeks but my fish act stressed by even half a teaspoon so it's your call..

Honestly I'd start with 1/2 tsp per gallon and increase up to 1 tsp per gallon the following day and hold there for now until you see about the poop. If no poop after a few days then you may increase it but iit should be enough for now.

I recommed the treatment for 10 days ish

how much did you feed him? over 4 pellets a day could be over feeding.
also what is your water temperature?

I feed him about 6 pellets a day. Three in the morning and three before i leave work. Maybe 2 extra on Fridays since he wont be eating over the weekend. The temp in the tank holds at about 74F and he is active. He plays all day and doesnt seem like he is out of it. I am just concerned he can get bloated and die. Ill feed him only 4 today and start giving him 4 per day on Monday.
