Getting an over excited betta to eat

How can I get Bazooka Joe to eat and not dance trying to get my attention. I don't want him to starve on me. >.<

Get something new, has he ever had brine shrimp? Mine will swim to the ends of the earth for frozen brine shrimp.

Gave him a few frozen bloodworms. Never seen him eat anything that quickly.
