Has anyone heard of the storm coming up the east coast next week?

Yup. Going to keep a close eye on the weather over the weekend. Sigh.....

Thankfully, we have a full house generator so the fishies and humans will be ok if we lose power.

It's strange how we're possibly getting another storm almost a year to the day that we had the freak snowstorm last year. We were without power for almost 5 days.

I don't like storms so I am worried.

I am in Dallas PA and am keeping my eye on the track. My area might not get hit as bad as those of you on the coast.... but .... you never know what mother nature is gonna throw at us.

I just posted on a thread by a newbie (as the OP said) about bringing the classroom betta home in case the school loses power. I bet there will be many threads started regarding what to do with their bettas/tanks during the storm...especially by people that are new to the betta-owning-family.

Wish a "sticky" could be put up so they could get information quickly about heating their tanks and keeping an ample supply of water and conditioner ready (NOW). We are told to prepare for ourselves with ample food/water/flashlights/etc.....we have to prepare for our beloved Bettas too.

I hop all of you Betta-Lovers on the forum that are in the path of this storm stay safe and sound.

I live in COlorado, but i've heard about the storm on NPR. I hope you all are safe, crazy to have a massive storm like this at this time of year me thinks. Like I said, Be safe everyone on the East coast

Everyone by me is going bonkers--my hardline phone was down for a while from people clogging up the lines. It's scary; I'm hoping it's not so bad since I really did not enjoy moving back into my parents house (generator) for a week last year during the power outage. :-/
