Help! My fish looks bloated?

I just noticed today that my Betta fish's stomach looks a bit swollen. Not as bad as a lot of the fish you see when you google "bloated betta", but, still, nonetheless, looking bloated. He's less active than usual.

No heater, no filter, I know, I know. But guess what? I have a tank(10 gal) set up right now with a heater, filter, etc. I figured I'd put him in it tomorrow or something.

I just started giving him Omega One pellets for bettas. I realize I should've let them sit in tank water, absorb, and then cut then in half or something because they are small betta sized pellets but they get BIG when they're sokaed in water.

I have pictures but they don't do much. The flash is a little distracting but if I didn't have flash on, he's a dark fish so it wouldn't really show....

You can see it best in that photo. What can I do to help him? Do you think it's serious? D:

I do suggest moving him out of a bowl and into a heated, cycled, filtered tank as soon as possible, your fish will be much happier.

He does look bloated, it could simply be over feeding I'd try fasting him for a day and see if that helps before adding any chemicals.

Okay, thank you! I'll try and move him tomorrow. It is getting much colder and I can see that he's more sluggish for it. Again, thanks!
