Nono (Fus no Dah) has been bloated on and off for the past week or so.

What size is your tank? he usually in 2.5 gallon but now in a 1 gallong hospital

Does your tank have a filter? his 2.5 does but not the hospital
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? no
Is your tank heated? yes
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? none

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? tetra betta pellets for enhanced color
How often do you feed your betta fish? once a day 2 pellets but he has been fasting for a few days

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? once a week
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 25% to 50%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? dechlorinator / stress coat

Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? first fungus guard then switched to epsom salts the 1 gal hospital heated now has 1.5 tea. of epsom in it
Does your fish have any history of being ill? just this past week
How old is your fish (approximately)? 6 months since ive had him or so

I bought a female a week ago who was doing what appears to be the same thing. I put her in a 1g heated tank, added Aq salt(1/2 tsp premixed) & fed her one pellet because I didn't know how long it had been since she ate, fasted her for a couple days, fed 1 pellet, Dailey 100% water changes & by day 5 she was swimming around with no problem. I have moved her into the 10g QT tank with the other new females & she's all over the place. Also because she was new I added Pimafix & Melafix for a few days which I know is controversial but I've had good results with using it very short term. Hope he's better soon.
