Hey guys, so I'm having a few issues with two of my fish.
The first is Shasta.
This little bump in his side popped up, and I'm kind of worried about it.
I'm had him in quarantine for a week or two now. I thought maybe it was some clogged intestines or something, so I did an epsom salt treatment, and when that had no effect I did an AQ treatment. Now I'm trying an API fungus med, just in case. He's acted no different, he's still eating and not clamped and still swimming about normally. He's in a half gallon plastic tank, with a heater that keeps his water at 78 degrees, and I use API Stress Coat for my conditioner. I've been doing 100% water changes every day for the past week, and every other day before that. Any idea what's under this guy's skin?
Then I have Gabriel, who has accumulated a little tumor over the past month. I tried everything- epsom, aq salt, fungus, triple sulfa. When it seemed to just be a relentless tumor I settled to changing his water every day and seeing that he wasn't suffering. But then this weird tumor started bleeding, which after a few more epsom salt treatments stopped. Then it started making a hole, and now that hole is filled up and something is sticking out of it. IDK what's going on, or if there's anything I can do. He doesn't seem to be affected by it- he swims as usual, is never clamped, eats like normal. Poops like normal too. It just looks really bad.
Any idea what I can do?
I appreciate your help.
