6 years is not amazing 10 is but 6 is good the average lifespan is 5-7 and rarely 10 but you are still a good caretaker.

My oldest Betta is around 4 Years old his name is Zeus.

I was told they live 13+ yrs. I think the oldest records show one living seventeen!! Mine will be seven, most die in first year due to human error

Carter is 2.5. I did an age survay here the average is 1 and 3 years old with one 7 and 8.
