Over curious bettas.

So everytime I want to trim stuff in my tank, I have to smack Kuro out of the way (lighty ofcourse) with my thermometer rod. other wise he'll try to get between the giant tweezers and the scissors. He would hide for two second after being smacked then comes out again. Sometimes if my hand gets too close to the water he does like a triple jump bite before realizing theres no food, that part is kind of cute. But being curious about the tools and potentially getting snipped or tweezered is not cute at all. I once accidetally knocked him against the tank walls with the tweezers, but the little rascal just doesnt learn...

So what do you guys do with your over curious bettas?

well, honeycomb is the same way ;)

He will always try to flare and attack my hand whenever i am fixing or cleaning his tank---he is just such a nutcase!!!

Nova has taken to nipping my hand whenever I have to do something in the tank lol that's what I get for hand feeding him xD

I dont like my hand in the tank, so I never touch the water :P
