Maybe your dad needed the money? Parents don't always share their problems with their kids. And kids aren't always sensitive to the fact that parents can have problems too...
yeah, sounds like financial problems, better make sure your college fund is in tact.
You must ask yourself perry, why are you so upset over it? Is it because you loved the car or just wanted it one day?
But as with all things at some point we must let go, to hold on to regret for material things will only bring pain and unrest. Instead, as other posters have presented, embrace life and all it's rewards.
I loved the car. Yeah maybe everything has to go but I'm still sad.
Perry I know how you feel. My mom won packer tickets from the super market but they are suites like club seats but we are selling them and im kinda mad about it because its a once in a life time thing but the pair could go for $500. Its a vikings game too. So I understand the feeling. I guess I cant be picky because we went for free to the season opener already. Just remember to keep all the awesome memories close I know if I lost my car I would be sad, its not as nice a car but it was/is my first car learned to drive in it and we have had it since 1999. I will get easier.
I know how you feel. When I was in high school and in the band, I played the tenor saxophone, but because my parent's didn't have a lot of money, I was borrowing my cousin's. One day, she announced she would need it back because she had sold it. I was livid! I had been scheduled to go to a band camp to play the saxophone and my flute in a concert, and she didn't even warn me. I still went and just played my flute. I got over it eventually.
