any experience with these....

has anyone used these before?

my friend recommended them but i have read mixed reviews online. sushi already has an emerged pothos but I wanna give him a little something IN his tank as well since he loves to hide in his roots so much already

I used the petco one three inch tall onion plants and the apoton is starting to grow.

I've never used them personally but a lot of people get them and they end up never sprouting and just rot in the water.

If you get them, I'd put them in a seperate container to grow and put them with your betta once it is sprouted. If it rots in your betta's tank it will cause an ammonia spike which can be deadly especially in a smaller tank.

Three of mine sprouted so far check the, first sometimes you get them already sprouted.

dwarf lilies will stay decently small (large anubias sized) if you have a shallower substrate.
you also should snip off any leaves that stray towards the surface. other wise any future leaves will want to grow lily pads and fling their leaves out real far....

I haven't used them, but like teeneythebetta said, I've heard a lot of people say that they never end up sprouting. I've seen them in a lot of pet stores but never really wanted to take the chance of them not working...
