Tankmates in a 5.5 Gallon

Hey guys,

I'm upgrading the betta at my work's tank to a 5.5 gallon (I'll be posting about that later when I get everything set up and transferred) that is heavily planted, filtered with a baffled Marina s10 Slim, and heated to 80*. Some people wanted to know if there's any other livestock I can add, and I have so far told them no unless they want to upgrade to a 10 gallon. However, I thought I'd ask you guy's opinion on if there are any tankmates that would be suitable for a tank that size that won't bother/be harassed by the betta.

No fish but apple snails soe shrimp heritage snails but please do double the water changes if you add tank mates but snails are your best bet some bettas eat shrimp.

Like Choclate Betta said, you can really only have shrimp or snails. With shrimp its a 50/50 chance. Your betta could eat it or live peacefully. If you do get either one, you might want to change the water more often like Choc also said.

Thanks I would say a 75 percent weekly or 50 percent weekly might work.
