he actually has a little dot of purple if the light hits him just right i saw him in petsmart ( they had alot of bettas dead in a cup it was a shame) and i just couldnt resist there was also a violet one which i could of swore changed colors when the light hit it but i wanted this little guy? im pretty sure its a guy based on fin length

also the camera doesnt catch his color right he is actually lighter than that pic

oh he's definitely a boy...with long finned breeds it's easy to tell. with plakats (short-finned) you have to examine body shape, finnage and look for an ovipositor.

he looks like Napoleon Bonaparte, so maybe name him Napoleon, or perhaps Waterloo
