I thought it was bad compared to my big tanks. Hers is not heated filtered and those bowls are no bigger than a cup at the petstore. And the person loves bettas because of how tropical and low maitnance they are. You can have a male / female combo only under certain circumstances why don't you put breeding? quote - Which brings me to another reason for no two-some names: Hashbrown is looking… well, sickly. He won’t eat and he just lays on the bottom of the bowl all full of ennui. Occasionally he’ll swim slowly to the top and then just let himself slowly drift to the bottom. He’s not nesting (blowing little bubbles along the top), he’s not swimming, he’s not eating. He just lays there, quietly hating me like a teenage son. I switched him to a different shaped bowl last night (same as Neil Patrick Harris’, who seems quite happy), hoping that would help. I even put a plant in there so he had something to look at/hide in, but this morning, I found him lying languidly under the plant, writing on his blog about how I ruined his life. Typical. How horrible!! That betta is dead and now she said she was doing research and the stuff she explained is normal and he will come around. quote - Well. Hashbrown is being tended to by the fine folks at Petco. They said he’s sick.
Yup he's sick and you most likely will find out he has died!!! So she got another to replace hashbrown. quote- In a weird twist of events, it turned out that Hashbrown was some fancy-ass Halfmoon Betta (I thought it was a Delta-Tail) which I guess I paid like $12.99 for when I bought him. I didn’t even notice! I figured he was $3.50 like the rest. So when I got Flapjack, they gave me change back, even though I bought some other items… I was totally confused until I saw my receipt. So it’s even better that Hashbrown get the care he needs. He’s clearly a high-maintenance fish.
look at the pic of the fishs wonderful home!
This is what is horrilble.
