Carter just sits there sometimes floats near the heater fish do not hav eyelids so I guess they see you while there sleeping.

That sounds like What Raphael was doing. It was kinda cute, looked almost as if he had his eyes closed. Or I guess more of a glazed look to his eyes like he just woke up. :)

Yeah it is kind of woerd they do not closen there eyes but they probaly view us as wierd because we close our eyes LOL.

I do wish bettas have eye lids when they're sleeping because my room is fluorescent lighted and I hate turning the lights on every morning.

Yeah. It would probably be more convenient for them. He does seem to get kind of annoyed when I first turn the light on. He's also going through a picky phase. He's trying to train me to only give him blood worms :)

I like to look at him with the light off too, but Its more fun when the light is on cause he swims all over the place. Got him to flare for the first time last night!

My applebloom was resting at the top this morning, I thought she was dead; but once I put my finger above the water to see if she would get startled and she did c:
