I know better than to look in the Betta shop at the LPS but I did & couldn't say no to this beautiful CT female, she makes the 8th female. She looks healthy but I will QT her for a few weeks to make sure.

Aww super cute! I understand a lil about QTing but what is your thinking of doing it right when you take the lil girl home?

Thank you, her coloring got my attention, the pics of course don't do it justice. As for QTing, I want to make sure she is healthy, that she is eating good, isn't going to introduce any diseases to my other fish in the main tank. IMO, QTing them when you first bring them home allows to you to "bond" so to speak. They get used to you & on a feeding schedule, you can keep a closer eye on them. Its good practice to QT fish or invertbrate before adding to your main tank.
