i have always wondered... i used to have a black cory, he would suck up a rock, and spit it out, he was eating the algea we discovered. how would this work with sand? i think that it would be diferent for yours since our cory was wierd, would swim up and down the glass in the filter flow for fun! keep us updated will you please?

The substrate kind of reminds me of that "funfetti" frosting- the white sand with some rainbow gravel scattered throughout.

thank you everybody! Cories orginate from waters with sandy bottoms, so they LOVE sand. Gravel can damage their barbels. They sift the sand through their gills and eat the morsels of food they find :)
I have never seen black cories! Could you post a pic?

i will thanks so much! I will get them in a couple of weeks!

Ahh nice! :D

I'm getting my 10 gallon with sand tomorrow. But as of right now, I have my 4 pygmy cories waiting for their new home :)

MTSs will areate your sand as they burrow through it.

What do you like about the sand I recommended to you? (; It's beautiful! And I told you it doesn't cloud that much, and be careful when you vacuum! It doesn't cloud or clog, it just gets sucked up.
