I went by my local Petco telling my self to not buy anything as I only had 25$ to my name ... I have 3$ now....

However I came across a new betta I had never seen before they called it the "Elephant Ear". The lady there was really excited because she had never seen them either. So I bought him. LOL. They are amazing looking.

My sister has an elephant ear, not really new but their popularity is growing. Next betta I get for myself will be a HMEE

Those are already classified, sorry. :l They're Bettas with big pectoral fins and thus.

I got a little confused about your post Lebron lol. I think it got edited by a mod but oh well... I have never really seen them at my Petco, however they are available on their site. I checked just now and they are 32 dollars! Expensive little fellas.. They are pretty though.

Yeah, I've seen those little guys as well. I do think they're a bit over priced...before the new cups came and they were just marked as plakats or delta's, you could get the same elephant ear for $12 (here, at least) rather than the $20+. They are cute little guys, though - I used to have one and he was just the prettiest little thing, and so full of personality! 'Grats on your new guy, by the way. c:
