betta guestion

i have a tank with tetras zebras barbs and a rubber lip pleco i was wondering if it was safe to add my betta witch is in a seprate round fish bowl????

is the betta male or female? and what kind of tetras and barbs do you have?

not sure if its male or female how do you tell?? and i have 3 cardnal tetras and 3 neons, 12 zebras all diffrent colors and 2 cherry barbs

male bettas have a larger more full tail and the females have very short tails.

i think it will be ok... the only thing im not sure of is if he will eat the neons.... he shouldnt i think they are a bit big for him but the other thing to watch is the cardinals. make sure they dont nip his fins.

With the fish you have,he will be fine in the community tank. If you had larger more aggressive tetras it migh have been a problem.
