There is supposed to be a nor'easter this week. Where I live we are supposed to get the S-word.

It was 90 degrees here today. Time for the sun to take a vacation already, if you ask me.

It's unseasonably warm here, we're supposed to have snow by now, but not a drop yet. It's been in the upper 40's to lower 60's for weeks. I hope we get snow soon, we've got a ski area that's supposed to open by Thanksgiving (fortunately, we have the best snowmaking crew in the world working at our Ski Area :D)

Sorry, my town's lively hood depends on it. We need it desperately. You can send it all to us - we'll gladly take it. That's part of the downside of being a tourist town that relies on a ski area being open in the winter. If not, we're doomed, and then have to wait until July for more tourists to come spend their summer with us. You can imagine what that does to those of us who work for the retail businesses that can only be open if we have tourists. (The place I work for is only open full-time 7 months out of the year - the other 5, he is only open a few hours here and there on the weekends, and usually, the owner is the one running it, the rest of us are laid off temporarily)
