Suddenly past away.....

Hello guys,

My fish, baby girl past away this morning. i don't know why？？？
She is 11 months. She just less appetite a few days ago, but she's swimming a lot.
Her body is not injured and no deasease.
She just small and maldevelpment.

Suddenly, she's gone this morning.
Why ? Do you know ?

Please teach me.....

Could you maybe tell us a little more about her old tank? Like size, temperature, tank mates, ect. That should help us get a clearer picture of what happened.

My tank is 5 gallon, with water plants and some pot, and heater and small filter.
The temperature is 76F, no annmonia, PH is 7.0.
I put in Indian almond leaf last week.
And she looks like stress a few weeks ago, because near my home road constraction, and so noisy and shake my home.
I have no idea why she gone.

Hmmm that is a tough call. Seems like she had the perfect setup. Their isn't any obvious reasons why she passed, so we will have to dig deeper.

How often was her tank cleaned? How long was she lethargic? Any color loss?

Perfect setup ?　I have another tank, but they're fine.

So, I changed this tank two per a week, 50% and 100% a few months ago. She didn't eat a few days ago. No color loss.

By perfect setup I meant she had a good home so that had nothing to do with her passing.

Maybe it was from stress like you said earlier, with all the shaking and construction that could be it.

But theirs always a possibilty she had an enternal problem/disease that just now started to surface.

I'm sorry I couldn't give you a direct answer, but I hope all of your other bettas are doing well!

if the noise is loud, fish can sense vibrations and are more sensitive to it than we are... it could be the reason

I have had this happen with 2 females - they just don't thrive. They seem fine - no signs of disease or injury, but they just become less and less active and just fade away. My males live long, healthy, lives, and all of my fish are in cycled 5g tanks with regular maintenance. But the girls just don't seem as hearty as the boys.
