Lighting question

I'm in the process of upgrading 2 of my bettas to the XL Kritter Keepers & was wondering about how to light them? Do ya'll just use desk lamps or something? I'll have live plants in them so I want to be sure they get good light of course. If any of you have these or something similar that you had to rig up lighting for, I'd love to hear your ideas & see pics if you have them!

Thank you!

ive been doing alot of research on lighting recently and got great replies from some people and found some informative posts, if your using a critter keeper most people seem to be using desk lamps or clip on lamps, just make sure u have a good bulb in there for the plants to grow, 6500 seems to be good, and keep it close as u can to the lid of the critter keeper, thats all u need, try home depot or walmart for the lamp and bulb, you will get the cheapest prices there

I used to keep my bettas in kritter keepers and I either used desk lamps or just natural light.
