Well guys/gals, I have ordered a new tank, and am planning to try with another betta. This time I'm not getting one at PetSmart, but I have found an all aquatic specialty store near me. The owner is a marine biologist, and has had his business for decades. I figure I'll have a better chance with one from there. In the original tank, I have guppies now. They're doing really well, and my daughter is really happy. So, I'll keep y'all updated on the new tank/betta.
