If you are going to exchange the heater, why not exchange the tank at the same time? I'd much rather go through a little trouble than have a faulty tank.

But this is just me - i'm also one to have nightmares of my 30 gallon shattering because the desk its on is bowing under its weight.

I am at work now.. the tank is still full. So it will have to be returned after I find another and move everything over. Right now Im just gonna work on finding a better kind of tank so i don't have to worry about it doing it again. Oh and a working heater! :)

It isn't Top fin. But the stand is.. I am not sure of the brand of the tank..
