I'm scared to hand feed my betta because they bite so hard. lol It's hard to imagine them biting though.

That's right. Sometimes they "nip" only. That's the 'soft-to medium' bite. Stage three they really let you have it. Believe me I know from experience.

Blitz always nibbles on my fingers when i put them in his tank! He has only full out bitten someone once, and that was my cousin lol! I convinced her to put her finger in his tank since his bites dont hurt and maybe he realized it wasnt my hand and he bit her hard! It made a little flap of skin com up on her finger! She screAmed but i was laughing!

He only bit me because my hands were near him so I avoid my hand getting too close.
