First Betta - Sassy

[Prophecy]

I figured I'd tell a little about myself...
I'm a college student and in the dorms we are only allowed to have plants and/or fish. I've had a cactus for quite a while and it just isn't that exciting, lol. I recently turned 21 and received some money, so I decided to go to the local pet store and check out the fish! Mind you, lots of friends don't think I can keep a fish alive, but so far I am proving them wrong. I instantly fell in-love with the beautiful Bettas and one in particular...

Sassy. He's a double tail halfmoon, I think. (Please correct me, if I'm wrong!) Also I'd love to know what his coloration is called! Another question, he keeps on going up to the surface quickly and making little bubbles on the top, I did some research and apparently he's making a bubble nest and is happy?
I just couldn't take my eyes off of him. He's very calm, but he has his excited moments and loves to rest on the plants in his tank. When he swims it's just so majestic, tho his relaxed position makes him look like a completely different Betta!

The camera doesn't do his color justice, he's very shinny!

Luckily, mine has a rule where we can have as many tanks as long as they're under 10 gallons, so I have 5 xD

Wow hes beautiful! And yes hes probably making a bubblenest which is good! However i dont think hes a double tail halfmoon. I think hes a rosetail( still halfmoon but tail looks like it has rose petals) but if you could get a pic of him flaring it would allow us to tell for sure! Just hold up a mirror to him and unless hes not aggressive he should flare. But dont be alarmed if he doesn't, one of my boys doesnt either
