Smile My new-ish baby & his planted tank.

A few weeks ago I posted a thread thanking everyone here for providing such great information on betta care & set-up. Norman is super happy and thriving in his new home and doesnt miss his crappy little walmart cup at all.

Here he is!

:) Thanks! He looks kinda odd with the flash but it was the best pic I could get. He doesnt really hold still long enough for me to get a good shot. haha. He's probably grown a quarter of an inch since I brought him home. Only problem is... now I want another one! ahhh!

Haha!! I've got a male that glass surfs ALL DAY!! i finally thought moving him to a center section rather than outside would cut it down, and it has. Now its much easier to get good pictures! lol
And yeah betta's are VERY addicting! I started with 2 a few years ago and now I'm up to 7 tanks!

Seven!? :) What size tanks do you keep them in? It took all I had not to bring a "baby betta" home from petco yesterday. It had beautiful colors already but I didnt know where I could put him/her. I have 3 empty 10 gallon tanks but no filters or heaters for any of em. Normans in a 10g and he surfs (I love that) constantly. I wish the stores sold a 5 long or something!!!

Oh that is funny, I am about to start up my 10 Gallon tank again since I took it down to put the fish all in a 30 gallon tank this past summer. Plus I bought a 5 gallon tank for my Fiance for Christmas. He never had any fish before and I'm going to help him with it and teach him all that I can about fish keeping. That will bring our tank total to 7 also But this is all before a year is even up. He bought me that 10 gallon tank last year for Christmas. Now he is hooked on fish like me ha ha!

I haven't seen a 5 gallon long but here is a long type tank that is 6 gallons. I almost bought this one, but went for a 5 gallon LED tank instead.
