I typically feed my male betta three pellets a day (I occasionally switch it up with flakes and/or freeze dried bloodworms, but I try to make sure it's about the same portion size each time).
Last night my mom accidentally gave him a double feeding (this has happened occasionally in the past, but nothing bad has ever come of it) and then this morning I woke up and started to give him his usual feeding. He missed one of his three pellets and then as I was watching him I realized he was bloated. (He's never been bloated before, he's always been a very healthy fish.)
He's still acting feisty and hungry, so he seems to be acting pretty normal, but I'm very worried. Should I just not feed him for a couple days and see if the bloating goes down? If so, how long should I not feed him? I've never had a betta with an overfeeding problem before.
