Accidentally brought a mole crab back from vacation :(

I'm not sure if any of you will be able to give me advice on this, but I figure it can't hurt to ask.
So I just got back from vacation in North Carolina and as a souvenir I brought home sand from the beach... well turns out that a small mole crab was in there as well. Now I am here in North Dakota and I have no clue what to do with this little guy... I can't just crush him as my mom suggested :( Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are you going to keep him? It seems like it would make a really interesting pet, wouldn't object to one myself! Crushing him would just be terrible
