Sunstar93 - You were not rude at all! :) I will take your advice on the same heater you have. His water is getting warm and he is slowly coming back up to speed.I think hewas just getting lethargic and might take some time for him to heal up. Thank You very much again! I really appreciate it! His tank is now at 76.1f and I can finally stick my finger in there without freezing it! :)

It is amazing what 2 or 3 degrees temperature difference does to a fish!!

Petco told me it's a Pleco and I have a 10Gallon tank.

normal plecos can grow to 15-18". And need a 50G tank or larger.

If it's a bristlenose or rubberlip pleco they grow 4-6" and still should be in a 20-30G tank IMO.

All plecos need wood to rasp on (as far as I know).

A little off topic, but I thought you should know.

Also adjustable heaters are the best. You ideally want 5W per gallon. So a 50W heater for a 10G tank.

That's very good to know! I will try to get a bigger tank asap for my Pleco. I just bought the smallest heater I could because I don't have much money even since my wedding was just last month so all our money is gone right now until we save up more. Thank You silverfang!
