Both the java fern and anubias need to be anchored to something-like driftwood, large stone or decoration of some type. You don't want to bury the rhizome in the substrate since it can rot-killing the plant-They will send roots into the substrate or into real driftwood on their own. I use cotton thread or rubber bands to attach them to whatever I plan to anchor them to. They can also float and be fine too.
The water wisteria-is a stem plant-just plant the stem or if it already has roots-plant in the substrate or place a large item on top of the stem and it will send out roots and anchor itself. Easy to propagate too-as it grows-pinch the top and re-plant it-also, the leaves themselves can sprout roots-let them float for a week or so and once you see roots-plant it...This plant will do fine floating too.
Food/ferts-water column liquid plant food-Seachem has a good line-like Flourish comprehensive.
Proper color temp bulb is the driving force behind successful planted tanks-without the proper light the plants can't use the food.
With that said, both the fern and anubias usually will do fine with just about any light-but the wisteria will need at least 6500K color temp bulb.
