Came home and there are eggs all over the bottom of the tank. I truly couldn't believe it! I tried to tell myself they were nerite snail eggs, as nerites also lay little white eggs singly (rather than in a jelly sack like alot of snails). But nerite eggs are very sticky - so sticky they are hard to get off the decor they lay them on. These eggs scattered everywhere when the turkey baster got near them. So yep, betta eggs.
She didn't look eggy this morning - she looks a tiny bit fat in her belly right now but not really eggy-fat, and she seems a bit off as she didn't attack her food with her usual gusto.
Man, she grew up fast!
