10 gallon.

Is it just me or PeTA saying Bettas need ten gallons making people think only some one with no knowledge keeps bettas in ten gallons?

Personally I think it takes someone with a lot of knowledge and patience to keep them in anything under ten gallons and keep them healthy. I don't listen to PETA. I don't agree with what they say and do.

I don't like PeTA either I can keep them in smaller but people seem to think bigger equals no knowledge.

It doesn't mean no knowledge to me. I think bigger just means easier to take care of.

I agree. It takes work to keep a small tank just as healthy as a larger one. I have some small tanks for some and it sucks my energy with the water changes. I have this one really long finned male who can't handle anything over a gallon though. He is older, going on three and his little bottom gets dragged down by all those fins.

Carter is going to be three this summer and gets plenty of excerise. He is a Delta-Tail.

What size tank is he in? I bet he zooms. My plakat zooms with his short fins. I have never had a delta tail I bet Carter is gorgeous. My three year old is one of those droopy tailed Veil tales. Extra long. I will see if I can find a good pic. He is just a basic colored betta but I love him and he is my oldest and my favorite.

Carters fins are like that. Carter is a chocolate. Carter swims better than many other Bettas even Pla-kats.

that's really cool. Most long tailed betta's don't get around that good. He sounds extra healthy. I think Delta is the only tail type I haven't owned yet. You make me want to get one though.
