I'm just curious about why some bettas are so much larger or smaller than others. It must have something to do with tail type because that's genetics...
My male betta, Shiny, is pretty small. He's supposedly a HMDT, but I've never seen him flare. He's about an inch and a half (without fins). Considerably smaller than Fishie, who is a HM Rosetail. Fishie is at least two inches, and very "muscular" looking, if you know what I mean. lol. He's just big. Shiny is very delicate looking.

I'm just curious. Does anyone else have fish who are different sizes?
