Treats

Hey I am writing this to see if any of you have any recommendations on some treats that I can give my bettas. I have tried blood worms and some other kind starts with a d. It was in one of those 3 wheels of betta treats and none of them liked it. Do you guys have any recommendations?

Have you tried frozen or freezedried?

If you haven't tried it yet, definitely pick up some frozen bloodworms....never met a betta that could resist frozen bloodworms. ;)
Frozen Brine Shrimp and Krill are also good treat options.

Thank you. How does the frozen bloodworms come like is it like when you buy food from the pet store or is it actually like frozen keep in the fridge. LOL

Well, they are frozen frozen....so you will need to keep them in your freezer. xD There should be a freezer around the fish section with the different selections of frozen foods. For the most part they come in cubes that you will have to break apart with a knife(Bloodworms you can sometimes find in 'sheets', which can be a little easier as all you have to do is break off a little chunk)as one cube of most foods are a little much if you're just feeding a few fish. Let what you want to feed thaw in a small dish, then feed a few to each of your fish. ;)

Oh I get it haha That was dumb of me. Are they like alive lol?

They aren't alive, they are just frozen. My betta goes nuts for frozen/thawed brine shrimp :)

Oh, no no, they're dead. xD Frozen. Like....when you buy frozen shrimp from the grocery store.
