"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," right?

So what don't you like about your tank? Is it the color scheme? The plants?

And does your fish seem happy in it?

I just switched my sand over from black to white, the fish didnt mind and its not so gloomy now, more or less the plants bug me..they just dont cozy up with eachother, theyre all scattered...theyre all about the same size so i cant go from short to tall or anything, guess its just not appealing to my eye. My fishes dont mind either way, they seem to be just happy to have some plants to hide in and rest on, no one seems stressed about the moves or anything. Im just not sure what to do with the plants :/ ill take some pics tomorrow, maybe you guys can give me some ideas on plant placement!?

lol aokashi, food is a big one for my boys too! :D

better to cluster some plants, find a balance between empty space and planted :) use the plants and some driftwood or rocks to create a focal point :)

I'm lazy so the less I mess with my tank the happier I am :)

You can use plants attached to decor to have plant material at different heights and make the tank more interesting.

As I am a perfectionist, in the early years I was never satisfied with any of my tanks. Then one day, it hit me that I was a closeted bohemain, trapped in a perfectionist's world...I now embrace a wild unscripted jungle look... Mr Amano..would not approve.

I love live plants I always have to have them in the tank. My big problem is i love changing the setup and idea of the tank.
