Finding happiness with your tank...

I've rearranged my tank over and over again and im never satisfied lol! Ive moved my plants around 4 times now...still not happy. Im a perfectionist with appearently no eye for aquascaping or decorating under water. How do you find happiness with your tanks??!

I would rather Carter like his tank than I like my tank.

I prefer that too but Carters liking of the tank is more important than mine his tank is his only home.

Haha! I've been fiddling with mine since I first set them up. I figure that it keeps the fish occupied, since they never know what to expect after their water changes. (If my fish could talk, they'd say: "Hey, why is this plant over here today? It was on the other side before! Stop messing with my home!")

This is true. For example, I took the pothos plant out of the female's tank since she didn't seem to like it. But the male LOVES his, so it stayed. In general, she seems to like more open spaces, and he likes more cover. So I've tried to set up their tanks this way. That said, I'm still fiddling with the placement of everything, all the time. :)

Carter seems to like dense cover on the bottom and little cover above and am waiting for all the plants to form the canopy I know he will like.
